Spike

Spike is a 10-year-old neutered male Chihuahua with a gentle soul and a heart that’s been through a lot. Having spent most of his life with his one beloved person, he now finds himself without a familiar home after his human had to go into a nursing facility. Spike is understandably cautious and wary of new people, but with patience and gentle care, he’s slowly learning to trust again. This beautiful boy is current on vaccinations and microchipped, and he’s undergoing rehabilitation to help him feel safe around strangers. Spike isn’t quite ready for adoption just yet, but with time and understanding, he’ll one day be ready for a new, loving home. Keep an eye on this sweet boy—he’s worth the wait!
